About The AuthorLeslie Lehr is a prize-winning author, screenwriter, and essayist. Her books include 66 Laps,Welcome to Club Mom,Happy Helpful Grandma Guide (now excerpted on FisherPrice.com), and Wendy Bellissimo: Nesting (as featured on "Oprah"). Her first film "Heartless" was a romantic thriller, and she is currently writing the movie, "Welcome to Club Divorce" for Lifetime TV. Leslie's Mommy Wars essay, "I Hate Everybody" was lauded by Katie Couric on the "Today Show". The essay from The Honeymoon's Over, "Welcome to the Club" inspired Wife Goes On. Leslie has degrees from The USC School of Cinematic Arts and Antioch University. She is a member of PEN, The Authors Guild, WGA, Women In Film, and The Women's Leadership Council of L.A. She teaches in the Writer's Program at UCLA Extension. Leslie has two daughters and lives in Southern California, as close to the beach as possible.... |
